Building stakeholder involvement doesn’t need to be boring. Together with my team, I designed and executed a low-budget in-house, diamond-themed escape room, “Svoltowsky’s Legacy”, which we built from scratch. After designing it, we spent our Friday afternoons creating the room and puzzles, all of which are full of references to diamond facts and figures. The building of the escape room doubled as a fun, out-of-the-box team building activity for the team. Several teams of colleagues and visitors had a blast playing the game and solving “Tolkowsky’s Legacy”.
